The well renowned Pro V1 Golf Ball has established itself as the number 1 selling golf ball in the world; since it was first used on the PGA tour back in 2000 it has dominated the market and continues to improve to this day. The Pro V1 Golf Ball is designed for the serious golfer at any level from weekend hacker to tour pro.  Its 3 piece multi layer construction utilizes greater distance and control with increased performance, not to mention the durability..

As the golf ball is the only piece of equipment that you actually use for every shot during a round of golf, you need to make sure that you choose the right one. As the Pro V1 offers greater distance and short game performance I would recommend it to any amateur and pro who wants to fully maximise their capabilities.

Which ball is for me?

To be honest, you cannot really go wrong with any of the titelist pro V1 range of balls. If you are looking for that extra bit of distance then go for the pro v1x. They also come in different colour boxes. Blue indicates greater carry distance where as green represents more role, which would be more suited in windy conditions.

Titelist are always striving to improve on their already excellent model. Amateurs around the world are striving for extra distance and performance and this is exactly what this ball offers.

Distance

Having went out on the course to test out my new little pro v1 golf ball I stepped onto the 1st  hole which was 412 yards from the tee’s I was playing. I hit a solid drive straight down the middle and when I finally got there I checked my distance to the flag and I was left with 90 yards, wow! I just hit it 322 yards!! Much better than my average 300 yard drive.

Feel

Once you play this ball you will quickly realise that the feel you get from a pro v1 is far better than most other golf balls out there. The soft yet powerful blow gives you great feedback and it also allows you to shape the ball. I hit a full sand wedge into the green for my second shot and it took 1 bounce and stopped dead, which brings me onto the next section.

Spin

You can create an unbelievable amount of spin with this ball which obviously helps with all kinds of shots around the greens. Once you are on the green you can use the AIM technology with is basically a straight line on the ball to help line up your putts.
