I have been using Callaway’s HX Tour Golf Ball. I have played this ball on several occasions and must say it is comparable to the Titleist Pro V1. It has great feel on the greens; moderate spin, but stops very quickly on the green; and feels nice off the putter face. I would call it a toss up between the two.
The day they make a golf ball with a built in finding device I will be happy.
It doesn’t matter how good a golf ball is. They are all just as hard to find in the rough.

Another great day in golf, Lefty just overtook Tiger in China. It seems that there is a real rivalry going on between these great golfers after all.

I agree with Greg… we need GPS enabled golf balls to be able to find them in the rough although my pink precepts are a little easier to find (when i’m not hitting them into the water!)

These are great golf balls. This what I usually play. When I decide to spend the money.
Titleist’s Pro V1 has been the market leader since it showed up a couple years ago. The new Pro V1 is even better, providing more distance yet also increasing control and flight consistency. This high-performance ball is for high-performance golfers. The only drawback is the price, which will keep away most recreational players. A great golf ball.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the Callaway’s HX Tour Golf Ball kind of a pricey ball? I’m just an amateur trying to get better and perhaps at the higher levels the difference in golf balls is a key element to shooting lower scores and playing better, but as a beginning golfer I have trouble justifying the added expense. Ok – flame me!!!

Titleist Pro V1’s are an unbelievable ball. I have used them since their release in 2000 and have tried all of the other balls from time to time and the Titleist ball still comes out on top. Many balls can match the Pro V1 in 1 or 2 areas but across the industry, no ball can match the Pro V1.

HA! I completely agree with Greg. Its all very well having fancy balls, but what good is it when I cant find them.
some kind of tracking device is defiently needed. Although maybe if I was a better golfer I wouldnt lose my balls.
The Vision UV is the longest and straightest ball I have hit. But it is still soft enough to hit into the greens with confidence. Other pluses are it is very easy to see in flight, on the fairway, in the rough, everywhere, and very hard to lose! I seem to only be able to lose them by sinking them in the deeper parts of the dams!!
