I have been using Callaway’s HX Tour Golf Ball. I have played this ball on several occasions and must say it is comparable to the Titleist Pro V1. It has great feel on the greens; moderate spin, but stops very quickly on the green; and feels nice off the putter face. I would call it a toss up between the two.
The day they make a golf ball with a built in finding device I will be happy.
It doesn’t matter how good a golf ball is. They are all just as hard to find in the rough.

I am going to an old time golfer/funny golfer and would like to stick a half of golf ball to my face somehow. Is there any kind of puddy or something along those lines? Any home remidies? Thanks!

Another great day in golf, Lefty just overtook Tiger in China. It seems that there is a real rivalry going on between these great golfers after all.

I agree with Greg… we need GPS enabled golf balls to be able to find them in the rough although my pink precepts are a little easier to find (when i’m not hitting them into the water!)

These are great golf balls. This what I usually play. When I decide to spend the money.
Titleist’s Pro V1 has been the market leader since it showed up a couple years ago. The new Pro V1 is even better, providing more distance yet also increasing control and flight consistency. This high-performance ball is for high-performance golfers. The only drawback is the price, which will keep away most recreational players. A great golf ball.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the Callaway’s HX Tour Golf Ball kind of a pricey ball? I’m just an amateur trying to get better and perhaps at the higher levels the difference in golf balls is a key element to shooting lower scores and playing better, but as a beginning golfer I have trouble justifying the added expense. Ok – flame me!!!

Titleist Pro V1′s are an unbelievable ball. I have used them since their release in 2000 and have tried all of the other balls from time to time and the Titleist ball still comes out on top. Many balls can match the Pro V1 in 1 or 2 areas but across the industry, no ball can match the Pro V1.

HA! I completely agree with Greg. Its all very well having fancy balls, but what good is it when I cant find them.
some kind of tracking device is defiently needed. Although maybe if I was a better golfer I wouldnt lose my balls.
The Vision UV is the longest and straightest ball I have hit. But it is still soft enough to hit into the greens with confidence. Other pluses are it is very easy to see in flight, on the fairway, in the rough, everywhere, and very hard to lose! I seem to only be able to lose them by sinking them in the deeper parts of the dams!!
pro v1 balls! I am a huge golf fan! To be honest I have never heard of pro v1 balls until I came to this website. I’m actually interested in getting some now. I wonder how the balls are. I love experimenting with new things. I might actually invest in some pro v1 balls. I’ll come back to this site so you can route me to the right place =)

Try adding some spin to the ball and see how this affects the flight. Use different types of golf balls to see whether your level of expertise has changed and allowed you to get more benefit from the different ball compressions.
To the average golfer, the ball type does not really matter. This is because of 2 reasons, for one, average golfers can not tell the difference when hitting a hard ball or a soft one. They dont hit them enought too. I also think that the high price of playing golf as a recreational sport puts enough of a dent in our wallets before we buy balls. Not many people want to spend $25 to $45 on a dozen balls when that will last them a round or two (depending on course).

My father loves golf. I do not know much about it, but I have been searching for great gift ideas for his upcoming birthday. One of his buddies mentioned the Pro V1 golf ball. He said it was the best ball he has ever used. Seems like there has been a lot of good feedback from everyone else on these balls as well. I will look into purchasing some for him.
Amazing list mate. Many thanks for the information.Anyway i have been looking for more list like this to create dofollow search engine with Google
You seem to have a nice site and am sure you’re getting decent traffic as well. Would you consider guest blogging on my website ?
Hi, Thanks for keeping your blog do-follow.
These plugins , Keyword Luv,Comment Luv & Top Commenters are great ideas, linking documents is what the world wide web is all about essentially! they are a great way to bring people to your blog and benefit the posters at the same time so everyone wins! However they still need to be moderated to get rid off the spammy comments. Thumb’s up to the developers!
It’s really great post. I would like to appreciate your work and would like to tell to my friends.
Thanks for sharing
I agree, having these plugins on your site sure helps for getting new unique content, and also helps the other bloggers getting quality backlinks. You do have to manage spam comments, but it is worth it (at least for me it does)
Has anyone heard of a new ProV1 coming out? They usually start testing them on tour in the fall. Perhaps we’ll see a new Pro V1 out for the fall finish.

Titleist Pro V1’s seem to be much better balls and you can see the difference straight away. Though it does get more annoying when i lose one. I always use them as my match balls.
I understood the importance of do follow links
I appreciate you to take your time to provide a valuable information. nice share…
Good article, if you want to achieve a good ranking and fast in most search engine for blog comments is the easiest and fast way to get a backlink from high PR sites. To do this it is not hard and not easy if you have not made a comment on a high pr site link if there is one more DoFollow link it will give a boost in your ranking.
Thank you for stopping by Louis and leaving your comment with my site. You have a great looking site by the way. Mine is kind of a mix between goggle sniper and Brians Commissional Ritual since I learned from both and kind of blended them together.
This is an absolutely fantastic blog, and now it got even better with the KeywordLuv plugin. I run this plugin on my sites also.
I am currently looking for keywordluv blogs in the baby niche. I appreciate your understanding for us other bloggers.
Cheers,
Chris

Prov1′s are hands down, the best golf balls. The difference between the Prov1 and Prov1X is very noticeable. The Prov1 sits very soft on the greens while the Prov1x is more firm. You can expect more distance from the X, but better control from the Prov1.
Spending money on Titleist Pro V1 Balls, playing a good game its just PRICELESS!
Over my years of playing golf I’ve used all different types of golf balls. With out a doubt the number 1 golf ball is the ProV 1 x ball. I feel that the soft cover helps me around the greens but is still very durable to play through out a round.
Great blog! Your tips and recommendations are wonderful!
Thanks,
Jim Masters
I play out of Ballybunion in South West Ireland. It is a most amazing links course – with very tough roughs. When you hit a ball into the grass (or bramble fieds), it is pretty impossible to find it again. I have lost so many balls in there, it’s not funny. Wouldn’t it be great if the large golf manufacturers could develop a ball with a GPS device to link to my iPhone? And if it exists, please somebody point it out to me!
I actually still using my lovely golf sets I bought 10 years ago.
I guess I am a bit old fashion, but I did love my ping’s club:)

I am huge fan of win and I appreciate any information that you can provide. Additionally, the cool thing about running these plugins is that that encourage people to contribute quality content to your websites on autopilot.
